NYC Plant Market is an community
initiative project by Corse Design in
collaboration with Culture Lab LIC

NYC Plant Market is more than a marketplace for plants. It’s a movement to reconnect New Yorkers with nature. We bring together local plant shops, independent growers across the city, and small nurseries for a once-a-month curated event that celebrates urban greening. From rare aroids, beginner houseplants, to handmade ceramic planters, we cultivate not just plants, but a green urban community. Our mission is to make green living accessible, sustainable, and rooted in local culture.

FAQ
Is there a ticket?
The NYC Plant Market is free to attend! Although we encourage everyone to make a small donation to help with the operation of the market. Plus, if you get a free ticket, you can get a 10% off Argentinian sandwiches from our friend across the street, Superchori!
How much is the vendor fee?
The vendor fee for the 2026 season is $85 for one space, and $160 for 2 spaces. We keep the vendor fee low for this community market, as we want to make the market start-up friendly. The vendor also has the option to share the space with another vendor, in which the cost will be split in half.
Is the market indoor or outdoor?
The market will be a hybrid between indoor and outdoor. Some vendors will be placed inside the Culture Lab LIC gallery, and the majority of them will be outdoors along the wonderful promenade.
